Lien entre toi et moi

Minsang Lee : 1993, Kimcheon, Student of the École nationale supérieure d'art de Paris-Cergy (ENSAPC), his artistic scene is based in Paris.

Minsang Lee's works are the result of the actions of having and giving up. This is a series on the theme of environmental protection and human greed.

Sans titre 1

Untitled

Sculpture, 27x25x46cm, paper from a book, several spices, natural glue

2021, Paris

The vase, an object that could not be more familiar, comforting and symbolic because linked to the house, to peaceful and classic places, turns into an object reminiscent of the protection of the environment. The book abandoned in the street was thus recovered and recreated as a work of art by the author. It gives off no floral scent, only bitter and spicy spices. They are the melancholy scent of human waste and human irresponsibility towards the environment.

Sans titre 2

Untitled

Sculpture, papier mâché, natural glue

2021, Paris

Abstract objects can also invade the two-dimensional space of photography like Minsang's work. These geometric sculptures made from photographs of fir trees and waste thrown in the streets after the Christmas party, give us an apocalyptic atmosphere.

Poème 1

Poem 1

Installation, 75x54x174cm, balloons, a vacuum cleaner, a plastic bag, a brick

2021, Paris

This installation, the principle of which is based on the strange association of objects, exerts on the viewer a subtle feeling of anxiety and curiosity. The artist wrote poetry while observing the everyday objects of the house he threw and sublimated it in a work on the theme of human greed and possessiveness, which he has always considered. This shows invisible energy flowing through a vacuum cleaner (suction) and a balloon (injection). From the observation and reverie of objects, she redefines the functional part of industrial objects and the social role of man.
